Background
I started out writing, mostly because I was drawn to witty hooks and metaphors like a pack of hyenas to carrion. Then I got good at it, which, in this line of work, is how they quietly take the writing away and hand you other people's to fix instead. So I leveled up the boring way - writer, editor, editor-in-chief, and every level-up was the same move in a new costume: get sick of doing a thing by hand, analyze the issue, go fix the system instead of the symptom. Eventually, I got sick of finding ways to fix things, so I started creating ways to fix things.
The build
At the core I run content and SEO: the uncomfortable parts where I'm accountable for whether the traffic is on a consistent upwards trajectory or just a mirage. When the work needs a tool that doesn't exist yet, I build it without depending on someone else's hours, resources or roadmap. This allows me to architect everything from standalone tools that automate single tasks to entire hubs with multiple workflows and APIs.
Alignment
Chaotic GoodHelpful by default, impatient with ceremony and excessive formalities. I trust a number as far as I can trace it, so nothing I build runs on thoughts and prayers. And yeah - I'm the one asking where the data actually came from while everyone else nods at the slide.
